#Fact checking
Checking claims before publication, on a schedule that survives volume. We cover which statements need a source, how to find one quickly, and why a number without a date is worse than no number. You will find the categories that go wrong most often: prices, version numbers, statistics, legal deadlines and anything described as the latest. We also cover what to do when a claim cannot be verified, which is to cut it rather than soften it. Nothing here requires a research team.
