#Hreflang
Hreflang is an HTML attribute that tells search engines which language and regional versions of a page belong together. It is added as link elements in the page head, in HTTP headers or in an XML sitemap. With it, a search engine can show a German reader the German version of an article instead of the English one. Each version must list all the others and itself, and the references must point in both directions. Mistakes are common, especially after migrations or when plugins generate the tags automatically. Articles under this tag explain how hreflang works, how to check it and how it fits into a multilingual blog.
